During the XIX and XX century the pictorial cycle of San Francis´s life at the Museo Regional de Guadalajara in México was attributed to different artists, the most important, the XVII century sevillian painter, Bartolomé Esteban Murillo. The document follows this interesting longterm debate over its authorship and propose another interpretation.
