LA PROTECCIÓN DEL ARTE PREHISTÓRICO IBÉRICO, ¿MISIÓN IMPOSIBLE?

An integrated framework for the evaluation of decay processes affecting iberian rock art is proposed. This leads to a review of recent findings and advances related to the definition of those processes. As a result, proposals for the preservation of rock art are made. The complexity of conservation activities is emphasized. In fact, some actions that do not affect directly the archeological sites themselves are considered relevant.
