In urban areas, we have to face the challenge and the need to develop a new framework that can integrate participation and governance protocols based on self-management, developing bottom-up strategies of conflict resolution and urban transformation. The challenge to address this new framework is redefining the criteria for urban health to establish new relationships in the territory on more collaborative, transdisciplinary and inclusive bases. View the abundance of plots in the city of Valencia, as a result of continued speculation in the historic center and the first belt of Eixample, we can consider them as opportunity spaces, especially in neighborhoods undergoing gentrification processes. Therefore, we have launched a project to reactivate a block in the neighborhood of Russafa, hoping thereby to improve urban quality and create a space where it is possible to build a community through the deliberative process itself.
