La imagen wixárika en el arte mural de Guadalajara

Este artículo trata del uso de la imagen wixárika por los jóvenes grafiteros y muralistas contemporáneos de la ciudad de Guadalajara. Con base en entrevistas realizadas a artistas urbanos tapatíos, se analiza la integración del tema de la pluriculturalidad en sus obras. Se presenta de qué forma vinculan lo artístico y lo político para generar un debate entre ciudadanos.-------The wixárika image in the mural art of Guadalajara:This article focuses on the use of the wixárika image by young graffiti artists and contemporary muralists in the city of Guadalajara. Based on interviews with urban artists from Guadalajara, the integration of the subject of multiculturalism in their works is analyzed. The way in which they link art and politics in order to generate debate between citizens is presented here.
