LA EVOLUCION DE LOS CUADROS DEPRESIVOS. ANALISIS DE DIFERENTES VARIABLES QUE PUEDEN INTERVENIR CON CARACTER PREDICTIVO

SUMMARYThe authors make a retrospective study on 81 depressed subjects, taking into account the presence or absence of 62 variables that, after the first analysis of frequencies, were reduced to 20. Fundamentally they focus on the Evolution of the depressive means in a minimum period of 4 years. They find that when having more than three children as well as being between 31 and 50 years old, they have a bad progress after four years. On the other hand with a Lineal Discriminant Analysis (LDA), they obtain various groups to foretell, -in new cases, the progress after four years with a high percentage of success.RESUMENLos autores realizan un estudio retrospectivo sobre 81 sujetos deprimidos, atendiendo a la presencia o ausencia de 62 variables que, tras un primer análisis de Frecuencias, quedan reducidas a 20. Fundamentalmente centran el trabajo en la Evolución de los cua­dros Depresivos durante un período mínimo de cuatro años. En­cuentran cómo el tener más de tres hijos, así como el tener una edad entre 31-50 años va en favor de una Evolución Mala (EM) a los cuatro años. Por otra parte, mediante un Análisis Lineal Discriminante (LDA), obtienen diversos grupos de Variables para po­der predecir, -para nuevos casos- la evolución a los cuatro años con un elevado porcentaje de aciertos.
