El blended-learning, es un esquema con gran potencial para lograr de manera eficaz y eficiente la trasferencia de tecnología, así como la actualización profesional; esta propuesta de aprendizaje en línea y a distancia, puede ser aplicada como método de extensionismo en el sector agroindustrial de nuestro país, a efecto de coadyuvar en la organización de microempresas agrícolas, cooperativas agropecuarias y las agroindustrias del campo mexicano. De esta forma, se estará contribuyendo con el propósito de formar profesionales capaces de aplicar tecnologías y metodologías que le permitan innovar los procesos y formas de comercialización de productos agropecuarios, con el fin de incrementar la rentabilidad en las agroempresas.Se considera relevante determinar los factores de éxito del blended–learning, a efecto de aplicarles para mejorar los resultados del extensionismo agrícola, tal como lo reportan Contreras y González (2011), así como Gallego (2011), quienes realizaron estudios acerca de la integración de tecnologías de información y comunicación (TIC), a los procesos formativos de las ingenierías y del postgrado respectivamente, en los cuales destacó una mejora de la comprensión y el aprendizaje. Se enfatiza la importancia de visualizar las TIC, como una forma creativa y colaborativa de generar conocimiento y transferir la tecnología.
