Many Latino American women writers criticize in their novels and short stories the domination strategies of oppression systems: dictatorships and patriarchy. Domination and violence exercised by dictatorial political power are similar to the domination and violence exercised by men over women in the patriarchal system. In this paper, we analyse some works by the following authors from Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, respectively:  Luisa Valenzuela,  Renée Ferrer, and Silvia Lago.
