La campaña de erradicación de las huidaomen 會道門 por parte del Partido Comunista Chino (1949-1953)

From 1949 to 1953 the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) developed a political campaign for the eradication of huidaomen 會道門, organizations identified as meeting spaces of subversive political and ideological forces. This campaign was part of the party’s larger legitimization project. Therefore, from a selection of articles Renmin Ribao 人民日报 or the People’s Daily and posters of this campaign, we present a first approach to the representations of the huidaomen and study their consistency with  the CCP speeches and policies of these years.
