Islamic Political Radicalism: a European experience

Hourani (1991) wrote that the religion of Islam has constituted, since its appearance, a 'problem'for Christian Europe, but at the same time has represented an intellectual challenge and an opportunity for commercial trade and exchange of knowledge in crucial areas such as medicine.
