Descripción

We place and describe some structures built to convey and store water in Roman sites at the territory of Marchena (Sevilla). They were found during the archaeological survey carried on there in 1999. These hydraulic works supply the water for domestic and agricultural needs. Tehy are related to the agrarian development of Sevillian countryside and the setting of a net of villae during Imperial times.
