Individuo y sociedad. La incorporación de lo social al liberalismo

En el cambio de siglo desde el XIXal XX, el Estado liberal se encontróde frente con un problema surgidodentro de él mismo: el conocidocomo “ascenso de las masas”, lanecesidad de una representacióny de unas políticas para las queel liberalismo no había nacido. Apartir de ahí toda reforma liberalpasó por la observación de unavida social más compleja que elmero individuo y sus derechos.
