Improving community spaces to promote social sustainability: design strategies and tactics for residential complexes بهبود فضاهای جمعی مسکونی در جهت ارتقا پایداری اجتماعی: راهکارها و تدابیر طراحی در مجتمعهای مسکونی

با توجه به اینکه توسعه پایدار در دهه‌‌های اخیر یکی از اساسی‌ترین دغدغه‌‌های معماران و شهرسازان می‌باشد و پایداری اجتماعی نیز از ارکان حصول به این مهم بوده و با نظر به اینکه مسکن نقشی تعیین کننده در شکل‌گیری فرهنگ و هویت جامعه را داراست و در عین حال افزایش سکونت در آپارتمان و اقامت در مجتمع‌‌های مسکونی، توجه به عوامل توسعه پایدار در مجتمع‌‌های مسکونی امری ضروری است. این پژوهش با مطالعه پژوهش‌های حاضر در زمینه پایداری اجتماعی در سطح شهری، محلی و در نهایت مجتمع مسکونی ابتدا سعی در بررسی تعاریف مختلف پایداری اجتماعی از دیدگاه صاحب نظران و استخراج عوامل موثر، این پژوهش‌ها را همگرا کرده و در نهایت به دنبال ارائه راهکارهای طراحی جهت افزایش پایداری اجتماعی در مجتمع‌‌های مسکونی می‌باشد. سعی شده تا با روش تئوری مبنا و با توجه به کارکردهای مجتمع های مسکونی به ارایه راهکارهایی طراحی فضاهای جمعی در این محیط‌ها بپردازد. این راهکارها بر اساس شاخص‌های مکانی موثر بر ارتقاء پایداری اجتماعی در دو سطح راهبرد و تدبیر بررسی شده. مولفه‌های  به دست آمده شامل امنیت، عدالت اجتماعی (مردمداری)، فعالیت‌پذیری (سرزندگی)، هویت‌مندی، انسجام فضایی کالبدی می باشد.کلیدواژه: پایداری اجتماعی، مجتمع مسکونی، فضاهای جمعیRegarding the fact that sustainable development has become a great concern of architects and urban planners in recent decades and social sustainability is the important foundation in this regard, on one hand, and accommodation plays a great role in formation of culture and identity of society and there is an increasing tendency towards living in apartment and residential complexes, it is necessary to identify the factors of sustainable development in residential complexes.In this paper, we have tried to present strategies of designing public spaces in residential complexes based on base theory method and functions .These strategies are considered in terms of effective place indicators on promotion of social sustainability in two levels of approach and implementation.According to the principles expressed by HUDSON, including correlation ,equality, variety, democracy and life quality and spatial indicators influencing the social sustainability such as security and activity variety( activation of facilities and infrastructures), activity variety can cause vitality which , in turn, leads to life quality. Identification and spatial integration, social interaction and social participation are important factors to create correlation and people –orientation can become equal to social justice. For each of security indicators, activation, identification, physical-spatial integration, design strategies are suggested as the following.- Security: mental security and safety, determination of territories (privacy);- Social justice or people-orientation indicator: access  to services, attention to funds per capita, facilities and infrastructures- Vitality: flexibility, activity variety and use mixing, beneficiary variety, permeability, climatic comfort, accessibility, facilities and infrastructures, right of selection for residents in public spaces, fair conditions for different groups , human scales, sociability- Identification: attention to physical identity of design ground (materials, form, density, geometry), maintaining the content identity (spatial hierarchy of internal and external spaces, spatial feeling), using regional features to keep identity, formation of public memory in space utilizing artifacts and natural factors of value.- Spatial-physical integration: determination of territories through hierarchy of public spaces to private spaces, legibility of spacesThis paper aims to present different definitions of social sustainability expressed by experts and introduce the effective factors about social sustainability in urban, local level and residential complexes and finally it presents design strategies to increase social sustainability in residential complexes.Keyword: social sustainability, residential complex, community space
