GÉNESIS DE LOS ESPACIOS PÚBLICOS EN EL CENTRO HISTÓRICO DE SUCRE: FASES DE CRECIMIENTO Genesis of public spaces in the historic center of Sucre: growth phases

Resumen: En la búsqueda del conocimiento acerca del origen de los espacios públicos del centro histórico, se realizará un análisis histórico–urbano de Sucre, pero bajo un enfoque que considera sus fases de crecimiento. Estas fases hacen hincapié en los sitios públicos, a partir de una lectura histórica continua de la urbe, es decir desde su origen a la actualidad. Esto permite establecer 12 etapas, que ayudan a identificar cuándo y bajo qué contexto surgen las tipologías de espacios públicos en Sucre. Abstract: In the search of knowledge about the origin of public spaces of the Historic Center, we are going to make a Historic-urban analysis of Sucre, under a focus that considers its growth phases. These phases make emphasis in public sites, from a continuous historical reading of the city, which means, since the beginning to the actuality. This allows for establish 12 stages that permit identify, when and in what context, the typology of public spaces arises in Sucre.
