Final Design Report

The project is to build an efficient, stable capsule pneumatically powered to travel the full length (approximately 29 ft.) of a 3-inch Schedule 40 PVC tube. Applications: There are many potential applications of this project. The pneumatic capsule was once thought of as the travelling style of the future as we zoomed across the city in clear tubes. Today, it is more practically used as a capsule to perform transactions at local banks while off of office hours for customer convenience. Another potential use of pneumatic capsules would be freight across the country as it is extremely efficient and more effective than the average train or semi-truck.
