FACTORES QUE INFLUYEN EN LA CREACIÓN DE MICROEMPRESAS CON FINANCIAMIENTO PROVENIENTE DE REMESAS FAMILIARES. EL CASO DEL MUNICIPIO DE JIQUIPILCO (ESTADO DE MÉXICO)

This research deals with the combination of complex phenomena such as international migration, remittances and entrepreneurship in a region of high poverty located in central Mexico. In this paper, we identify and describe the peculiar characteristics of these entrepreneurs, their motivations and the role of remittances as a factor in the formation of microenterprises. It also explores how various environmental factors influence the process, especially when the venture takes place in a region where migration is immature, leading to serious disadvantages for those who decide to establish a microenterprise. It also assesses the role of public policies in promoting or inhibiting the remittance-financed project.
