T his paper describes levels of adjustment, non-adjustment, internalization and externalization identified in a group of 262 children and adolescents distributed in three groups according to their ages, 4-7, 9-13 and 14-17 who participated in a study about prevention of aggressive behavior and promotion of pro-social conducts developed by Fundación Universitaria Konrad Lorenz and co-financed by Colciencias. The results of the Pupil Evaluation Inventory (PEI) by Pekarik used in this project indicated that the subjects classified as less adjusted had high levels of externalization at the beginning of the study. Differences where found in the test scores between subjects according to their institution and them being part of the project.
