Estudio De Los Daños Por Fatiga en Palas De Aerogenerador

The inspection of damages detected in the blades of a 300 Kw wind turbine has revealed the nature of these damages, which probably are due to a fatigue mechanism. The causes that have originated this failure have been studied (superficial cracks, geometric concentrator, abrupt change of thickness), verifying by means of the simplified evaluation procedure of fatigue life of the GL standard that such causes can justify the failure detected in the period of time in which it happened.
