ESCALERA MONUMENTAL EN EL PAZO GALLEGO COMO PALIDO REFLEJO DE LA ARQUITECTURA PALACIEGA EUROPEA

El presente artículo tiene como cometido mostrar la importancia que la escalera monumental tuvo en el contexto del pazo gallego que, aunque con cierto retraso respecto al resto de palacios europeos, fue capaz de configurar un tipo y lenguaje que, aunque con rasgos comunes a otras obras de carácter internacional, la hace personal y demuestra una vez más la validez y relevancia del arte gallego. ABSTRACT. This article try to show the relevance that the monumental staircase had in the Galician palace context which, in spite of the delay with regard to others European palaces, was be able to configure a sketch and vocabulary with common aspects in other international buildings, but with an own identity, symbol of the Galician Art validity.
