Descripción

Nonrandom sampling is the procedure in which members of a population are chosen based on criteria other than random selection. The widespread use of online surveys has increased the use of nonrandom sampling, and researchers have developed several methods to improve the representativeness of nonrandom samples. Convenience sampling, purposive sampling, quota sampling, and snowball sampling are the most common nonrandom sampling designs.
