El video “Goat Remix” como manifestación cultural visto a través de la memética musical

RESUMEN: Esta investigación es descriptiva y transversal siguiendo un enfoque mixto, partimos de principios teóricos para analizar la terminología de la memética y su aplicación a la música en videos virales. El trabajo consiste en rastrear las características de un meme y su transmisión cultural a partir de nuestro objeto de estudio, el cual es un video recopilatorio que suma en total 59 canciones, las cuales fueron modificadas para incluir el grito de una cabra que sustituye un momento de la melodía que hace el cantante. El propósito es observar el uso de la memética aplicada a las manifestaciones culturales difundidas a través de YouTube, en este caso los videos Goat Remix, como instrumento de estudio para la cultura.      ABSTRACT: This study is descriptive and cross curicular with a mixed focus, we share theoretic principals to analyze the terminology of memetic and it is application in music and in YouTube videos. The work consists in analyzing the work of a meme and its cultural transmission in the object of study. That which summarizes 59 songs which were modified to include the scream of a goat That substitute a moment in the melody in which the singer, spread through YouTube, with the intention of observing the use of memes in cultural manifestations, in this case the videos of Goat Remix , as an instrument to study culture.
