EL ROL DE LOS TALLERES EN LA SISTEMATIZACIÓN DE LA FORMACIÓN PEDAGÓGICA DEL DOCENTE UNIVERSITARIO

ResumenEl profesor universitario ejerce una segunda profesión, ya que es graduado en diferentes ramas del saber, pero realiza la función docente, lo cual justifica la importancia de su profesionalización para tal actuación profesional. El presente trabajo aborda la sistematización de la formación posgraduada pedagógica universitaria y la importancia de la realización de talleres de reflexión, como complemento del diagnóstico de necesidades formativas realizado antes y después de la implementación de los talleres. Éstos contribuyeron a la mejora de la formación pedagógica del docente universitario según resultados de un cuestionario aplicado a 604 docentes, compuesto por 25 ítems correspondientes a las dimensiones de la formación pedagógica del docente. La investigación realizada posibilitó perfeccionar y ordenar un sistema que integra lo instructivo y lo educativo en la formación del claustro, lo que contribuye a la formación docente para un mejor desempeño. AbstractThe university professors usually develop “a second career” due to the fact that they are actually majored in different fields but indeed they perform the teaching activity, this supports the great importance of their training to fulfill the teaching task. The aim of this paper is systematizing the professional pedagogical training, which is carried out at the university and to disclose the importance of implementing workshops for reflection to improve the pedagogical training as a complement of a diagnose of training needs, carried out before and after the implementation of these workshops. According to the results of a twenty five-items questionnaire applied to 604 university professors, which includes elements on the pedagogical formation dimensions. This investigation made it possible to perfect and structure a system that integrates the instructive and educative aspects in the faculty, what contributes to improve the professors training for a better professional development.
