Tro. 353-405) In a highly rhetorizing passage Euripides puts in the mouth of Cassandra, who has left Bacchic ecstasy, an argumentative analysis of the negative consequences that wars carry for the defeated, but also for the vanquishers. A study of the stylistic resources used by the author reveals the characteristic procedures of his dramatic technique.
