El lenguaje pianístico de los compositores españoles anteriores a Albéniz (1830-1868) /The pianistic language of Spanish composers earlier to Albéniz

En 1830 Pedro Pérez de Albéniz, tras sus estudios en París, es llamado a ocupar el puesto de profesor de piano del recién creado Conservatorio de Madrid, introduciendo en España los métodos de enseñanza y repertorio románticos y contribuyendo a la formación de varias generaciones de pianistas que culminarían en la década de 1870 con varias figuras prominentes a nivel internacional, entre ellas la de Isaac Albéniz. El objetivo de este trabajo es trazar un panorama general de la música pianística española y de su evolución entre 1830 y finales de los sesenta, momento en el que un precoz Albéniz comienza a dar conciertos, de manera que se pueda situar su obra pianística en un contexto, fruto de una historia de la que es heredero. Esta música no puede desligarse de la época y la sociedad en la que surge y que la condiciona, ni de su función, por lo que no solo se examina el carácter de estas obras, sino también el contexto en el que surgen, el público al que van dirigidas y su recepción, sin olvidar la influencia de otros pianistas relevantes que visitan España en este período. In 1830 Pedro Pérez de Albéniz, after study in Paris, is called to hold the post of Piano Professor at the new Conservatory of Madrid, introducing in Spain the teaching methods and romantic repertoire. He contributed to the training of several generations of pianists that culminated in the seventies with several prominent international figures, including Isaac Albéniz. The aim of this paper is to present a framework of the Spanish piano music between 1830 and the late sixties, time when a precocious Albéniz began to give concerts, in order to situate his piano works in a context, and as a result of a history that had an undeniable influence on him. This music can not be separated from the time and society in which it appeared or from his function, and that is the reason why not only the nature of these work is examined, but also the context in which they arise, the audience they are addressed and their reception, as well as the influence of other relevant pianists visiting Spain in this period.
