\"El impulso trascendente como naturaleza primera\": Pensar la ética como ejercicio espiritual en tiempos de secularización

The article intends to show the possibility of conceiving faith as an object of scientific interest in times of secularization through the rethinking of the concept of " Transcendence " as inherent to the dynamics of human nature in its social mechanisms of cooperation, reciprocity and altruism. The author incorporates these evolutionary mechanisms as part of an "transcendent impulse" which ultimately leads to humans to postulate an utopian dimension ("Kingdom") as the source and purpose of christian faith. Therefore, the believer today can link scientific and theological reflections thanks to the positive contributions of secularization in the understanding of the Christian faith.
