El ejército romano y su tratamiento en la ficción cinematográfica. El caso de Lucius Vorenus

El presente trabajo analiza la visión que del ejército romano de fines de la República aporta la serie televisiva Roma. El principal objetivo del siguiente estudio es analizar el rigor histórico de la serie Roma tomando como punto de partida la trayectoria civil y militar de uno de los protagonistas, Lucius Vorenus. A partir de las fuentes históricas de época romana y de la historiografía posterior llevamos a cabo el estudio del cursus honorum de Lucius Vorenus.This research is based on the television series Rome, in order to analyze the vision that appears in it about the Roman army at the end of the Republic. The main aim of this study is to analyze the historical accuracy of the series taking as its starting point the civil and military career of one of the protagonists, Lucius Vorenus. From the historical sources of Roman time and the later his-toriography we carry out the study of the cursus honorum of Lucius Vorenus.
