El analisis no estandar

Resumen Se presenta en el lenguaje del análisis no estándar una versión de un argumento de Euler de su Introductio in Analisin Infinitorum sobre la función exponencial, el cual emplea de forma esencial el lenguaje de los infinitésimos. La naturalidad de nuestra versión del argumento de Euler aflora cuando se adapta al lenguaje del análisis no estándar, al obviarse argumentos relativos a la extensión por continuidad de la función exponencial. Abstract This article presents a variant of an argument by Euler in Introductio in Analisin Infinitorum about the exponential function, in which essential use is made of the language of infinitesimals. The natural character of Euler's reasoning becomes all the more so evident when it is rendered in the language of non standard analysis, as we can then dispense with some the technical arguments regarding the extension by continuity of the exponential function.
