Household savings is a recurrent economic research topic at central banks and international financial and monetary organizations, because micro-economic analysis, on which these studies are based, provides a complementary view to classic macroeconomic research on aggregate savings. It provides direct information about expectations and the specific determinants that lie behind the behavior of individuals (people, businesses and, in this case, households). Additionally this methodology provides a good procedure to deal with the always present problem of aggregation in every macro analysis. INCOMPLETE
