DISEÑO E IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE UNA HERRAMIENTA ORIENTADA POR OBJETOS PARA EL MANEJO DE INVENTARIOS Y PLANEACIÓN DE LA PRODUCCIÓN, APLICADA A UNA PLANTA DE FABRICACIÓN DE ENVASES PLÁSTICOS

There are two critical elements at moment of making production planning in a productive system. The first is to know the state of work centers to generate a program with lead times that reflect plant’spresent capacity. The second aspect is knowledge of inventory levels of end items, components and raw materials that will be used. This project proposes a methodology for production planning in medium term. In first instance the orders are scheduled using dispatching rules, then MRP (Material Requirement Planning) logic is applied to generate the policy to manage inventories. To handle all required information an OOP system was implemented. This technique helps to obtain feasible programs which considers tactical information of Master Production Schedule at same time allows consider operational floor plant information.
