The correlation between wars and coin hoards is a commonly accepted model to explain the causes anddates of the finds. In this paper, we will see an overall view of the military campaigns of the Second PunicWar, in the Iberian Peninsula, in order to verify the agreement between the numismatic hoards and literarysources.
