Condiciones para la distribución de las formas pronominales silábicas y asilábicas en el español alfonsí

This is a paper on the factors that control the elision or realization of the vowel in Old Spanish clitic pronouns (m, t, l, s vs. me, te, le, (s)se). This topic has often been discussed under the lable of apocope. I show that elision/apocope is linked to grafical clisis and to the linearization with respect to the verbal host.Comments and feedback welcome!
