Communication for Sustainable Development of Reformasi Indonesia: Dialogue, Participation and Empowerment

Communication for development of Indonesia Reformasi has been structurally built on the idea of organic communication, a term coined by Servaes&Malikhao (2009). The regulations, policies and mechanism of communication for Reformasi development has fulfilled dialogue, participation and empowerment elements of organic communication. However, practically the dialogue, participation and empowerment elements are hardly to happen because of the communication perspective is not integrally involved since the beginning of designing development projects and the power relations amongst stakeholders of development are overlooked.
