Using the main advances in categorization and nominal classification and other current and well attested principles in world languages (taboo and euphemism, phonosemantics, child language acquisition), we analyze the i-stem nominal category in ancient Greek from a diachronic, semantic and typological view, in order to find if noun grouping inside this category has a motivation based on noun meaning.Chapter 6: Taboo and Euphemism
