The frontiers between carpetans and other neighbours have been deeplystudied except in the case of the celtibers people. The NE part of the carpetaniancountry limited with the Celtiberians territory. This border crossedthe current Guadalajara province and not many studies have been developedin this area. The recent archeological works, as well as the new reviewof epigraphical documents and classical written sources allow us to make aclear difference between both areas. In spite of this, the redesigned of theold preroman borders, as well as its real meaning, is still an unclear and controverterconcept. Because it seems that this difference was not only geographicalbut also cultural and ethnical.
