This work is a first approach to the study of craniofacial morphological variability inhominins using 2D Geometric Morphometrics for the skull base and 3D for the rest ofcraniofacial region (braincase and splanchnocranium), to characterize the involvementof the diet and abrasiveness of food resources in the craniofacial morphologicalvariability. For this, the morphometric data are compared with data obtained fromestimating the bite force and tooth microstriation variables as indicators of trophicbehaviour.
