CALL FOR PAPERS II JORNADAS DE DOCTORANDOS DEL MUNDO ANTIGUO

El Grupo de Investigadores ITHAKA se complace en invitarles a participar en la II Jornadas de doctorandos del mundo antiguo, titulada “Piratas, guerreros, comerciantes, dioses y monstruos. Las aguas y sus pobladores en la Antigüedad”, que se celebrará en el Salón de Actos de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid los próximos días 19 y 20 de mayo de 2016. El pasado año la organización de este grupo de investigación celebró en la Facultad de Geografía e Historia de la Universidad Complutense la I Jornada de Doctorandos del mundo antiguo titulada “Crimen y Castigo en la Antigüedad Clásica”. Debido a su éxito, ahora consolidados como asociación proponemos una Jornada para doctorandos, estudiantes de master, investigadores y profesionales de la Antigüedad que quieran participar como ponentes para así poder presentar el resultado de sus investigaciones. Al mismo tiempo, pretendemos que estas jornadas sean de carácter anual e interuniversitario, celebrándose tanto en la Universidad Complutense como en la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid de manera alternativa, para ofrecer mayores posibilidades a los investigadores, y a su vez poder integrar los seminarios dentro de los programas de doctorado. Bajo el título de estas jornadas, “Piratas, guerreros, comerciantes, dioses y monstruos. Las aguas y sus pobladores en la Antigüedad”, pretendemos abordar la relevancia que el medio marino y acuático tuvo en el mundo antiguo, en el desarrollo comercial, en el plano político, artístico e iconográfico, religioso, historiográfico, etc. La duración de las ponencias será de 20 minutos para las de profesores y 15 para las de alumnos. Los formularios para el envío de propuestas y las normas de los mismos pueden descargarse en nuestra página web (http://grupoithaka.wix.com/grupo). También se encuentran disponibles en la web del Departamento de Historia Antigua de la UCM La fecha máxima para el envío de propuestas es el 7 de abril. Si tuvieran algún problema de horario para realizar su ponencia, no duden en indicárnoslo para poder ajustar el programa. Asimismo aquellos que quieran inscribirse como oyentes de las jornadas deberán hacerlo en la misma dirección de correo. Posteriormente, con la intención de publicar las actas de las jornadas, nos pondremos en contacto con ustedes para indicarles las normas de edición y revisión de sus ponencias.
