Caleros en la comarca de Lea Ibarra

In recent years action has been taken on elements of our historical, ethnographic and archaeological heritagewhich until recently had been overlooked in research projects and programmes. Our study concentrates on oneof those elements, precisely one which can be found scattered around our mountains: lime kilns. A systematicsearch for these lime kilns was carried out in the Vizcaya district of Lea Ibarra. Each one was briefly defined andthey have been shown to be a complex and far-reaching phenomenon of the rural world.
