Cabos sueltos y lagunas pendientes: la transición y sus lecturas recientes

Resumen: Sobre la transición, en estos momentos, parece más fácil indicar los puntos de desencuentro que los consensos historiográficos, lo que convierte al tema en uno de los más abiertos posibles para la historiografía y las demás ciencias sociales. Su proximidad y sus visibles consecuencias complican muchas veces lecturas que se aproximan a la militancia o al partidismo. Proponemos una revisión historiográfica con la que plantear nuevas preguntas, analizar desde diferentes perspectivas los resultados y procurar llegar a definir su propia naturaleza. Se trata de tomarle el pulso a un tema que no es uno más en la secuencia natural de nuestra historia. Asimismo, formulamos un balance en el que se distinguen y describen aquellas obras que pueden resultar más reveladoras o innovadoras porque han contribuido a refrescar o poner en cuestión una versión sobre la transición que se ha considerado oficial. Abstract: About the transition, at this moment, it seems easier to indicate the points of disagreement that the historiographical consensus, making the issue one of the most open for historiography and other social sciences. Its proximity and its visible consequences often complicate readings that sometimes approach to militancy and partisanship. We propose a historiographical revision that raise new questions, analyzing results from different perspectives and trying to define its nature. It's about taking the pulse of a subject that is not one more in the natural sequence of our history. We also formulate a evaluation in which distinguish and describe those works that can be more revealing and innovative because they have contributed to refresh or to question a version of the transition that has been considered official.
