We investigate the possible link between coping, depression andconstructive and non constructive thinking with 329 college students who belong to four of the multidisciplinarycampus of unam. The total sample responded to the constructivethinking questionnaire for college students; 184 responded to theAdolescent Coping Scale (acs), while pression Inventory. The results show relationships between constructive thinking and coping strategies aimed at problem solving, whereas constructivethinking relates to low depression scores. With this information,we have evidence of the incidence of constructive thinking and depression, as well as positive coping strategies.
