Descripción

Rorschach test is one of the psychological tests worldwide reference, especially in clinical psychology context. Since today, Rorschach test has been analyzed trough the Classical Test Theory (CTT). This article analyzes Rorschach and Projective Inkblots in a sample of 224 Spanish adults. We calculated adjustment degree of some Rorschach variables to one Item Response Theory (IRT) Model, the Continuous Response Model. The variables we explore was: a) localization, b) human movement, c) animal movement, d) inanimate movement, e) color, f) chiaroscuro, g) texture, h) form quality, i) human content, j) animal content, k) clothing, food and sex content, l) other contents and m) frequency. Inanimate movement, chiaroscuro and texture can´t be analyzed. Localization and form quality didn´t fit to the IRT applied model. Human and animal movement, clothing, food and sex contents, and frequency, shows a “good” fit to the model. Color, human, animal and “other” contents shows a “very good” adjustment. We discuss this results in terms of possibilities and challenges that implies.
