Análisis de la posición ideológica del gobierno ecuatoriano en el contexto de la movilización indígena antiextractiva

The article explores the discursive dimension of thedispute between the government of Rafael Correaand Ecuadorian indigenous movement with respectto the mining policy. Firstly, the text explores the waythe government justifies its mining projects against the proposals of indigenous people.The discourses of main actors are analyzed throughthe concept of framing of David Snow and RobertBenford and in relation to the original ideologicalproposals of the government. In this way the textreveals the discrepancies between pre-electionpromises and real behavior of the governmentof Rafael Correa with respect to the mining andthe rights of indigenous people. Thus the articlerepresents a contribution to the debate about thereal impacts of the governments of the «New Left»on the content of Latin American policy.
