Amplificación De Las Anomalías De Humedad De Suelo y Del Índice \"Ndvi\" Por El Niño en Colombia

We show that El Niño/Southern Oscillation event amplifies strong negative anomalies in soil moisture and NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) in Colombia. Time variability of soil moisture was studied by using time-domain reflectometry data collected at depths of 20 cm and 40 cm at three sites under shadow coffee, forest and sunlight coffee, in the tropical Andes, central Colombia. We
