Alto de Castejon Poblado de la Primera Edad del Hierro

Archaeological excavation at the top of the hill on which the First Iron Age settlement is located. Two dwellings  were documented, corresponding to successive phases. The most modern seems to have undergone various  restorations and reparations. Unlike in the lower part of the settlement, where an organised process of  abandonment was documented, here, evidence points to the sudden destruction of the dwellings, in various  phases, with collapse and fires.
