Cualquier reflexión sobre las mujeres en la Iglesia exige comenzar asomándonos al Nuevo Testamento. La sobreabundancia de estudios en torno a este tema de-lata su relevancia y su actualidad, pero esta amplitud puede volverse en nuestra contra y convertirse en un obstáculo que nos incapacite para adquirir una vi-sión global y básica de la cuestión. Este artículo pretende evitar esta dificultad y esbozar esa necesaria mirada panorámica. Para ello rastrearemos las huellas de algunas mujeres concretas mencionadas en la Escritura y que tuvieron un papel destacado en las primeras comunidades. Abstract Any reflection on women in the Church requires us to start by considering the New Testament. The overabundance of studies on this question reflects its importance and current relevance, but this volume might turn against us and become an obstacle preventing us from acquiring a basic overview of the question. This article aims to avoid this problem and sketch out this necessary panoramic view. To do so we will follow the traces of some specific women mentioned in the Scriptures who played an important role in the early communities.
