African Perception of Jacques Derrida

This paper work takes a closely look at the theory of deconstruction by Jacques derrida a French philosopher who advocates that while reading a literary work that the author is assumed to be dead and also that the context in which such works are written is relegated to the background. It is in relation to this derrida's view that we discuss the perception of Africans as regard deconstruction that the author, context, history and the society cannot to be ruled out in reading any African works.
