Patient S.S was 26 years old women. She was 3rd born of her family. She belonged to a middle-lower class family. She got married in the same class. She was educated up to matric. Her family home environment was strict. Her life with her husband is a very busy life. She came to Jinnah hospital as outdoor patient with presenting complaints of addiction to gutka, irritation and not being able to leave this stimulant. She was referred to trainee clinical psychologist for detailed assessment for her symptoms. Patient has been addicted to this stimulant since 6 years. Patient was formally and informally assessed through mental state examination, Symptom-checklist and House-tree-person (HTP). Patient was diagnosed with Stimulant Use Disorder, 304.40 (F15.20) moderate; other or unspecified stimulant. Patient was managed through Contingency management and habit reversal. Her therapeutic interventions included deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, voucher-based reinforcement and habit reversal.
