In this work, the behavior of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) composites as electromagnetic waves absorbing material has been studied. The electrical properties and mechanisms of absortion of the MWCNT composites were studied, showing that the microwave absortion of the MWCNT composites strongly depends on the MWCNT loading in the composites and on the aspect ratio of MWCNT. Other mechanisms to minimize the reflection of the electromagnetic waves in this samples, as the impedance matching and the destructive interference by reflection, were also shown.
