Abducción en el contexto del descubrimiento científico

The epistemological models of scientific reasoning have been described in terms of inferences of the deductive kind or the inductive kind. However, inferences of the abductive kind have been less explored. Explaining the processes of abductive inference turns out to be extremely illustrative to account for the processes of problem resolution within the context of an epistemological model of scientific discovery. Thus, the scientific researcher, by means of cognitive processes of the abductive kind, will be able to generate a broad range of new reasonable hypotheses, and lo rationally decide, among them, which can account for the observational data.Abducción en el contexto del descubrimiento científico.
