HONDA STUNS FANS WITH RADICAL CIVIC CONCEP The first Honda Civic was introduced in July 1972 as a two-door model, followed by a three-door hatchback that September. With an 1169 cc transverse engine and front-wheel drive like the British Mini, the car provided good interior space despite overall small dimensions. Variable gear ratio steering, beefier front and rear stabilizer bars, 4-wheel disc brakes and handling assist brake-torque vectoring will all be included with the new Honda Civic .

EXTERIOR DESIGN The exterior will get some major improvements. the coupe will receive their own front fascia, making them different than the hatchback. LED headlights will be included, as well as LED fog lights. The back of the cars will receive some mild changes. The coupe will have different tail lights and a different exhaust system, while the sedan get’s a small spoiler integrated into the trunk door.

INTERIOR DESIGN The interior features more soft-touch materials than previous Honda Civic s and felt spacious when we dropped into the front seats. The people at Honda were referring to the C-segment sedan as being almost “C-

plus” in size with the new interior packaging. In the back seat, though, the roof profile makes seating a little tight for people over 6 feet tall.
