Resumen / Abstract1. Objetivo: el objetivo de este trabajo es determinar el estado de la enfermería española de posguerra a través del punto de vista del “Boletín Oficial de la Cruz Roja” de Cádiz.2. Fuentes: se han consultado la citada publicación periódica, el “Diario de Cádiz” y el “Boletín Oficial de la Provincia” de la época como fuentes de información historiográfica.3. Metodología: estudio y análisis del “Boletín Oficial de la Cruz Roja” de Cádiz entre 1939-1940 mediante los métodos heurístico, hermenéutico e histórico en la interpretación de textos.4. Resultados: el boletín recoge la organización asistencial de la Cruz Roja en la provincia y temas de interés relacionados con la enfermería de posguerra. Se resaltan además las principales figuras sanitarias a nivel provincial y nacional; así como iconografía inédita.5. Conclusiones: el interés de la publicación por la profesión ayuda a entender la situación de la enfermería en la sociedad de la posguerra.Abstract1. Objetive: the aim of this project is to determine an approximation of Spanish nursing state in postwar period through the point of view of the “Boletín Oficial de la Cruz Roja” of Cádiz.2. Sources: it has consulted the quoted period publication, “Diario de Cádiz” and “Boletín Oficial de la Provincia” of the time as historiographical sources of information.3. Methods: study and analysis of “Boletín Oficial de la Cruz Roja” between 1939-1940 through heuristic, hermeneutics and historical method in the interpretation of texts.4. Results: bulletin reports on the healthcare organization of the Red Cross in the province and interesting topics related to nursing. Besides, provincial and national health figures are highlighted; as well as unpublished iconography.5. Conclusions: the interest of the bulletin by the profession helps to understand the situation of nursing in postwar society.
