Eshu - Eleggua - Exu - Elegua - Esu He is perfect balance, like a circle, triangle or square, Orisha Eshu rewards or punishes, he's always fair. The Immortal messenger, he sees all, thus have a care. Takes ori (soul), with Iku (death), reports to Olorun (God) so beware! First, named, and fed because Eshu has the heaviest load. Our conduit, he unlocks all doors, and knows every road. No plea or prayer is heard without Eshu breaking the code, Some Orisha forgive, not Eshu he takes what is owed. Are Eshu and Eleggua the same? Not so in my view. Eshu is of IFA and Eleggua ocha, its true. Similar yes, some duties too, Combined? Indeed some do. Any way we choose is what matters, either – or; it’s up to you.
